Re: "Ford F250 Wheel Question"
Theres only one correct hubcap style for the 61-66 F 250-shown. Rounded early 50's caps match the fat fender era only. Notice gear pattern around edges of cap. Matches the gear and lightning bolt theme on these trucks. http://inlinethumb57.webshots.com/50488/2953856410099297328S500x500Q85.jpg

Just Wondering About The Width Of The Older Rims Notice how nobody produced a concrete answer to your question yet? All guesses. Here is the correct reply. 8 lug 1 piece 16" innie wheel measures 7" accross edge to edge, 6" inside bead to bead. http://inlinethumb28.webshots.com/50651/...

Welcome! To be honest, I think you be better off finding another Jeep Cherokee but with low miles. The F 250 is not a high speed freeway type vehicle that your used to, won't have power steering, power disc brakes and high speed rear axle ratio and would be expensive to add this. It probably doesnt ...

Re: again with the hubcaps
never saw any 66 outie caps for f250s they dont exist ? Correct, they do not exist. If you must run outie style wheels, why use the 67 thru 77ish design? This design really doesn't come close to matching the original design. Why not use the '75 econo and some 77 and 78 F 250's? ebay # 150601902661 ...

Nice find! The perfect trans for a 61 thru 64 F 350 with a 5.13 or 4.88 rear end. 5.13X.8=4.10 in overdrive, 4.88X.8=3.90 in overdrive It was the optional trans in 500-700's. series medium duty trucks. Should be a direct bolt in with a few mods (drive shaft shortened, parking brake drum removal etc....

Gritsngumbo and Bill W are correct. 64 thru 66 F 100-F250 2WD Custom Cabs had argent silver gravel shields from the factory, while 61 thru 63 Custom Cabs ( as well as 61 thru 66 standard cab pickups ) had body colored gravel shields from the factory. Trucks that don't follow these rules are repainted.
