Re: It`s smoking time!
Alan, that thing turned out fantastic? How are you liking the reverse flow? Ours is on wheels now and we cooked for a graduation party last weekend, ended up doing 75 lbs. of pork butt. I found another tank for a patio smoker that will be a reverse flow like yours.

Re: Ford 390 valve and rocker shaft question
It looks to me like the wavy spring washer that goes between that last rocker and the solid washer has started to colapse. The rocker should be centered for the most part and there should be no gap between the rocker and the pedestal.

Re: Removing broken bolts
I deal with alot of broken bolts and such here in the tool room. I've found that a sharp center punch mark, eyeballed in the middle of the broken bolt is the best place to start. Follow that up using a center drill (combination drill counter sink in the MSC catalog) and then move on to the left hand...

Class of 92. 65 Flare Side with a warmed over 352, my first re-build ever. I'd bet people that I could get the front wheels off the ground and then piss them off when I'd bounce it through the parking lot in granny low. That truck took a tremendous amount of abuse. I was on a first neme level with t...

Re: Edelbrock Performer 390 + edelbrock performer 750= ???
I don't have the exact combo, but i'm close. I'm running a stock bottom end 390 with a factory cast iron 4V intake and Hedman hedders backed up with a C6. I have a 750 Holley on it and it is way too much carb. After chatting with the fellas over at the FE forum, a 600-650 cfm carb would have been mu...
