Did Ford stamp the VIN on the frame of these trucks? If so does anyone know where it is located? I have a 63 F100 4x4

Holly green looks different to me in most pics....sometimes seems lighter...maybe its just me. I thought the origional color of my truck was Caribbean Turquoise now im thinking maybe it was Holley Green

Thanks guys! Been awhile since ive been on this site. Ive had that truck since I was 16, my grandfather bought it in 74. Its been put on hold for a few years but now hopefully soon back to work on her again.
I wish Marti had info on them but they only go back to 67 on trucks

63 f-100 4x4 Production numbers

I have a 1963 F-100 4x4....I have had this truck for a long time and always wondered how many they made but I cant find any info anywhere. I have heard 997 were built but i dont know, but I do know they werent that many made.
Anyone have any info?
Its a custom cab 8ft bed 4x4

I cant rember what year grill it had but it has the 57-60 style bed on it like mine.

The main character (Joaquin Phoenix) drives it throughout the movie

I used frame mounts off of a 76 f-250 4x4 for my 63 4x4 I had to box in the frame about a foot on each side and bolt the frame brackets to the frame. I was going to try the bell housing and timing cover mount but I couldn't find the timing cover. I think there is a cross member available for this sw...

I was registered on the old msn site
I haven't been around the forum in a while so i didn't notice that it moved

I had to re-register to get on here
