Door Hinge Pins
Are the pins in the door hinges supposed to rotate in the arm (that the door bolts to) or in the bracket (that bolts to the cab)? I had an original set rebuilt by a local shop and noticed that some of the hinge pins rotate in the bracket and others in the arm. I'm not sure whether the shop rebuilt t...

Re: NOS= NO$$$$$$$
I've been eyeing those NOS mirrors for a while but agree that they are overpriced. If anyone has a nice NOS pair for sale at a better price, let me know.

Re: Black or body-color bed liner?
I'm planning to use the U-POL Raptor liner product. I've heard great things about it. How thick did the liner end up?

Radiator support cage nuts?
Does anyone know where I can find the special rectangular cage nuts/clips that go in the bottom of the radiator support? It takes five of them. They look a little different from your average square cage nut.

Yea, this is what the rest of the interior will look like (disregard the seat in this pic):

Need opinions on bench seat design
I can't decide on a bench seat design, so I photoshopped two options and would love to know what you guys think. The interior of the truck will be painted with the factory two-tone colors, Academy Blue and Wimbledon White. I'm going for a clean, subtle custom look. If neither of these designs look g...

Re: Black or body-color bed liner?
You know what I like to use instead of POR 15 is a product called Fluid Film. It's a lanolin wax liquid (and environmentally safe - like vegetable oil) that doesn't cure like a paint. They come in aerosol cans and I use a wand to spray it up in body cavities and drain holes and stuff. It kinda sinks...

Re: Black or body-color bed liner?
Thanks for the feedback guys. Leeroy - your truck looks great! This truck is getting a no-corners-cut frame off rotisserie rebuild. I've modernized a few things and it won't be factory correct, but it will be built right and I'd like it to last as long as possible. I'm building it for me and it'll n...

Black or body-color bed liner?
Getting real close to painting my F100. I want to use the bed for light duty truck stuff after it's all done so I'm going to coat the inside of the bed with U-POL Raptor bed liner. What I can't decide is whether to go with black or body color. The truck will be painted the same blue as seen in my av...

Re: Dash paint color codes
Haha, yes, I have the super rare invisible shift lever.
It's a '64 F100 2wd. According to my VIN, the paint code 'VM' is for Academy Blue and Wimbledon White.

Re: CV vs Dakota vs Jag front end swap.
I have the complete jag suspension out of my F100 (as seen in my tech article), including the crossmember cradle I built which makes it a bolt in deal. I would sell it to you if interested. On my new build I went with the Dodge Dakota, not because I was unhappy with the Jag IFS, but just because I w...

Repro Radiator Support Quality
What's the consensus on the reproduction radiator support (C2TZ16138G) that's out there. Any good? Correct sheetmetal thickness? Actually FITS properly?

Re: Mounting Bed to Frame
Hmm, well I'm the one who pulled the bed, so I know it wasn't damaged. It came off a clean, crash-free truck. I'm thinking my new frame must be tweaked then. 1/4" doesn't seem like enough to bother messing with though... I went ahead and bolted the bed down with no shims and the body lines actu...
