Welcome to Jackson, lol. I live in Pearl. Acey's is who I use. Jackson cylinder head service is going through some stuff right now from all the things I've heard, and Massey's takes forever. Fair labor rates, quick turn around, and excellent work, use acey's off of hwy 80. (acey's high performance s...

Wouldn't the exhaust kit for a 73-79 truck fit our trucks? Thanks in advance.

sounds like a weak coil or a bad pickup coil if these have pickup coils? replaced the pickup coil in my ihc with a pertronix coil thing and eliminated the brain box... runs great and haven't had any problems with it.. I'd try checking the resistance between everything with a meter.

That's sort of what I figured, got another 66 sitting at the house (parts truck). Major thing is if it'll crank and make it to the shop, lol. It'd make a nice cruiser. Dropped with some cragars and a sloppy cam, roller 5.0 would give me liveable fuel mileage.

What would you offer for this 66?

http://jackson.craigslist.org/cto/1337102985.html

It's not really a bad deal, may look into it. I need a ride for college, and I'd really prefer a slick. I've got a 302 and a c4 at the house that will bolt in. What's your input? & why does the hood sit awkward?
Thanks for the help,
Clevor

Looks real nice effie. If it's getting painted black I'd like to see pics. Planning on gettin a 66 shorty in about two months. Gonna paint it high gloss black with a 68 thunderjet stroker, I really want to make it into an oldschool hotrod.
