That '57 is beautiful. That is my favorite year Ford truck too. I think it needs a little more of a period look though, it just takes something away from it when everything on it is so modern.

I'd be happy with any of those trucks, but what the heck was that BLASTOLENE??? I've never heard of that. They are custom/show cars built by two guys that call themselves the blastolene brothers. Jay Leno's "tank car" was built by them before he bought it and made it drivable. Really cool...

Junkyard wheels?

Anyone have a list of takeoff wheels with size specifications that will fit a 62 f100? I have a set of steelies that look like factory wheels. The backspacing on these is more than I would like, as the rear tire (215/75/15) can rub the bed inner fender/panel (its a flareside) when the axle gets at a...

Jimbo, Judjing by your username I'm guessing you need a tube mount for a 302. Take a look here. http://www.tdperformance.com/products/?id=3295 Try the dealer locator. I was able to get mine locally the day after I ordered. It was a few extra bucks but saved on shipping. I used the 4849. The kit inc...

Late model three on the tree trans?

I have a plan to put an efi 302 in my 62, but I want to keep the column shift standard. Will a 70's or later 3spd work with my factory bracketry? If not does anyone know the mods necessary to swap to a standard that will fit behind a windsor engine and work with the three on the tree shifter?

No kidding, that is nice for a 352 truck. Mine might be lighter than I thought.

Big or small transmission tunnel?

I'm buying a replacement rubber mat for a 62 f100 with a 223 and a 3 on the tree, and I was curious. Do I have the large or small transmission hump? I assume small, but I am not certain.

I would think that would be a pretty light truck, especially with the 302/t5 swap.

Those are definitely sharp trucks, PFM-64f100. Not exactly flaresides or stepsides if you prefer, though.

Flareside picture thread

I would really like to see some pics of some flareside slicks, projects, finished, stock survivors, doesn't matter. Post 'em if you got 'em.
