I have seen a lot of cv swaps and a lot of slammed strait axles but I haven't seen a slammed cv. Is it possible? Has someone done it? Can u post pics or a link?

They are rubber and I still used grease. I tried using a bolt and nut with a washer for some reason I can't get them to stay strait.

I'm trying to put axle pivot bushings in my truck and I can't get them to go in strait. I used a balljoint press it got the old one out fine but I can't get the new one it strait it just binds up.

I believe the brake system in those are an air assist not a full air system.

You do not have to have a cdl because it will be a personal vehicle. If ur still not sure call ur local u haul rental and ask them if u don't need one to rent one u don't need one to own it.

now what is involved in the 80's conversion is it a full sub frame install or do u mod the original frame

i have 3 slicks 1 63 and 2 66 and im debating with my self on what frame to use, they both have there advantages and disadvantages. now if those radius arms in that link would work for the 63 then i could just use that frame that will leave me with no camber problems. and it is't going to be a daily...
