Rich, about the photo
Rich, what year truck is this a photo of?
What year and make ( maybe even p/n of the unit that is installed )
Got any close ups of the other connections? parts?
The other site posted I'll have to join to pull the info, strange I would of thought this conversion would of caught on on our trucks.

My dealings with this issue
I was actually considering this conversion, but the yahoos at TCI could not tell me HOW to convert to where it attaches to the 1965 F100 driveshaft, from my understanding this trans mounts as they do to the new mustangs which is much different than our trucks, not just a yoke change. The yahoos coul...

Pow/Rack&Pinion in1965 F100
Anybody ever done this??
I have a 65 F100 with the newer disc brake spindles and want to add a Power Rack & Pinion steering.
I seen many conversions for Chevy trucks, and even Mustangs.
Is such feasible with the I beams?
ANY help appreciated, photos/sources of KNOWN kits!
Joel

Gas gage or sending unit WHICH BAD?
My gas gage (factory 65F100) with full tank registers ONLY 3/4 full & have about same issue when about empty, in other words the extreme 1/4 readings are NOT being used. I can swap out for GOOD gages, if this is the reason but hate to do so IF the unit in tank is the issue? Suggestions / help? t...

65 6 cylinder 3 speed BELL vs 78 Auto bell
I have a 65 3 speed on column, will a 1978 automatic bell with auto trans bolt up? Will the 78 Auto V8 converter also work? What do I have to change? Only the flex plate for the 6 cylinder?
Need facts, really don't have time or money for guessing : ) thank you

Can you be more specific on the mods?
Maybe with close up before and after photos? Any brackets used from donor other than the ones mounted to frame?

Modifying early core support to be in 1965
Thanks for this re-post, I wonder if the fellow would be willing to modify others for us NON welders etc? I would think with DETAILED close photos and patterns to go by someone could take the repos now current and update them and sell them : )

Before I get into a LONG job that's NOT worth it I need suggestions. I snapped the OUTSIDE stud off even with the exhaust manifold, my questions. a) Can this stud be removed / drilled out from the bottom, with starter removed for more clearance? b) On this 6 cylinder, can the exhaust manifold be rem...
