It's been over a year and I thought it's about time I provided a update.... I started off with one Mack a 1940's B-42. I ended up getting another Mack a 1964 B-53. With the two trucks I was able to to make one. I still have a ton of work left to do, but the body work is pretty much done. The body we...

Here is what I did:

This worked well for me. I just made a center plate and cut my holes for the smaller gauges.

Not what I intended on getting
Ever go into a store with the intent on getting something and coming out of the store with something completely different... Well this just happened to me. I went to a friend's yard to take a look at a 50's victoria for my wife. She wants a 52 or 53 victoria with the glass roof. So my friend said he...

One trick I have used with our digital camera's that has worked really well, is when I am not using the camera, I flip one battery the wrong way. Most electronics even though the button is switched to off, they still pull a draw. Flipping the battery obviously makes it so the camera can't pull a dra...

The guy that owns that truck Jeff, was a really nice guy. He drives the truck daily. He did all the body work and paint him help, expect for the pin strips, which, he told me he had a pretty well known hot roder do from California. He told me the story behind it, but I can't remember the details now...

Pics from this weekend
Wife and I went to a local car and bike show at Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson here in Loveland Colorado. Wife got really into the show and got dressed up in her rock-a-billy outfit (What a knock out!). While at the show they had a guy doing pin strip work, had the idea of doing something fun with...

It's a record! Well for me anyways...
Started at 6:30PM and engine was on the stand at 9:00PM.. So two and a half hours to get the engine out of the truck, all wires labeled and bolts bagged (to help make everything go back together smoother), tools almost put away, and removal of the oil pan. My drain plug is stripped, and I have tried...

Getting ready for summer. I got finally got my new wheels and tires on the truck. I am very happy with the over all look and stance. I have to admit these new wheels and tires changed the entire look of the truck. The new rubber really make the drive nice. I also got a great deal on a brad new vinta...

Yeah I guess I just need to accept that dings and scratches are just going to happen. I just had the truck painted less then a year ago, so I was kinda hoping to keep it in better shape, but I am kinda like a bull in a chain shop... Dean -- Well I am not AS big as the truck itself, but I am a pretty...

Keep me away from shiny things
Lately I don't know what it is, but if there is anything shiny on my 66 I am or have scratched or hit it. My garage while it is technically a 2 car, barley fits my 66 and me, so it is very easy for me to turn around and "BAM" hit the truck if I am not watching what I am doing. Tonight I ja...

As the other have said, very nice and very clean, I like!! We did a Air cleaner for a 1962 Chevy Impala.. (I know, I know, I am talking about a chevy and not even a truck! I won't let it happen again. ) The car had a redbull sort of theme to it. So for the air cleaner we did a bulls head and the hor...
