I love those wheels! If you were close I'd take them. As to blasting and painting them, there's a tire shop called Les Schwab in the northwest. for 20 to 25 bucks a wheel they will sand blast and powder coat them. Do some looking and you may be able to find someone who will blast them and powder coa...

Tremec makes different bell housing for just about everything. I'd buy it then call them and tell them what your doing. They'll have something that will work for you.

Best aftermarket fenders?

Who makes the highest quality aftermarket fenders for the '65-'66 f-100's? I could probably make my passenger side fender work, but my driver side fender has way too much cancer in it for my likeing.

thanks all,
Lee

Re: 65 / 66 grille

Yea, too bad you didn't post earlier etc we could of just swapped and split the shipping. I'm not sure if mine is Steel or Aluminum, you mean they made both or is one material the Factory one? I haven't looked at mine closely I don't think it has any dents. YES, send me some close up and different ...

I'm half tempted to start bidding on it to see if I can afford the reserve or not. That is a work of art if it's the real deal. Shoot, if I could afford to do it I'd fly out there and inspect it, then just start bidding. I hope someone gets that for a museum if it's the real deal.

There not giving away mono leafs either. I'm not sure I'll ever get an engine as big as your talking about. I do have an extra 351 cleveland I picked up that was cheap. Might have it rebuilt in the future and see if those stroker kits are all their cracked up to be. Once I've gone that far I may op...

why would you spend 600 to 700 to lower it 3" when a crown vic k-member can be found for as little as 200? In a couple years I plan on doing a full on tube chassi for the truck. until then I just want it lowered a little. The current motor for it is a bored out 390 with a 428cj crank, aluminum...

Three inch drop I beams?

Does anyone know where you can pick up a set of dropped I-beams for a '66 f-100? I want to lower the truck a bit, but don't want to get to carried away right now as future plans call for a full on tube chassi.

Thanks, Lee

I hate my dodge but love my cummins. lots of people dont know that the cummins is only a 6 cylinder. makes it pretty easy to work on. I think a ford crew cab with the 5.9 cummins would be a good thing. If you buy an f-650 you can order it with your choice of powerstoke, cummins, or cat motor. I kee...

I don't know, that's a good question though. That'd be a pretty cool hauler though. I wonder what it'd cost me to get it down to the lower 48? Here's the only thing I could find about it doing a google search. I noticed someone said something about a chiltons manual from that era. I have a few burie...

Doug, thanks for sharing the pics. That dark blue and white truck is pretty sharp looking, almost the color scheme I was thinking of. The two tone teal and white is the current color of my truck right now and after seeing how good it looks done right I may have to keep it that color. Desicions, desi...
