Thanks Iceman for your reply. We had a friend help us replace valve seals around 120K. The motor has never been into other than adding an Eldebrock manifold. I'd be happy to remove the oil pan myself and replace oil pump---if that's something a non-mechanic can attempt in the driveway. Are Oil pumps...

25 Oil p.s.i. how low is too low?
150,222 original miles...I've been noticing the (after-market) oil gauge slowly creeping lower over the last few drives. No longer in the high 30's to 40...now 25 p.s.i. tops. Dash panel oil light will occasionally flicker--never stays on solid red. Any thoughts? Troubleshooting? Where is the oil pu...

Door handles/windeow cranks solution?
hey gang. need advise on keeping inside door handles and window cranks on the spindle/post. I order new replacements and we've managed to grind off the ridges even when we torque the set screw in as tight as possible.
Thanks for any solution(s)...

WHEEE WHEEE
THANKS ICEMAN
We/re hoping the bad starter has not messed anything up
We put in a new starter when we put in heavy duty flywheel and new ring gear 15 k mi ago.
Should we spring for a better high torque starter than stock?
See some on jegs but extra bucks

Oil Light Mustang
Thanks for all the replies. I did find what could be the sending unit behind my powersteering mount. This plug looking thing comes out from the engine. It does not have any wire, hose or tube currently attached. It looks kinda like the bottom of a spark plug (threaded, and has a raised knob in the c...

65 Mustang OIL Light ON! Advice?
My '65 289 V8 Mustang's oil light has been flashing on and off. Now more steady. I checked: oil level=fine oil color=nice and bronze idle=normal drive/runs=normal I'm no where close to being a mechanic! Any advice? I was hoping it was some sort of sending unit failure. Does this car even have such? ...

Sorry again about the GIANT photo I posted of Dixie! That's ok, posting pics is a pain in da butt sometimes. Did you get my PM with a smaller avatar pic? It's a beautiful truck & we'd still like seeing it when you post, if you want. I like your interior, the 'Stang looks sweet too! Thanks! I ad...

Red with White Interior
Thanks! The 2+2 was our 1st car with A/C! I remember our 1st trip to Daytona in it as a 6 yr old. I'm 48 now! It has special meaning b/c I lost my Dad to Cancer when he was my age. My Son and I put a custom White with Red Mustang Inserts in Dixie. We thought it would further tie these two together, ...
