Re: Well, my ship finally came in...
If the gel coat and stringers are in good condition, a Century of that vintage is worth saving (may not be for you, but someone would want it). Be cool as hell with a marine 460 in it.

Re: Hey Slicksters, remember me?
I'm not sure about yellow trucks I hear they are bad for you?? Good to see you are doing well! Get the rest of the hot rods put together? LOL, hey that drivers door in the pic just got hung. It's the one you sold me. Still need to paint the inside, but it works. Here's a pic of the hot rod, probabl...

Re: Turn signal switch & hood hinges
Bmcgc, the key to making the turn cancel work right is to make sure you have the wheel aligned properly when re-installing and the wheels are straight ahead. Otherwise it will not cancel or cancel too quickly.

Cool! Yeah, wiring problems can be a pain to chase down. Sometimes it's just about trial and error, glad it was so easy.

Re: tonneau covers
I just had a custom one done. It's not to the level of quality I wanted, but I didn't pay much and the quality has more to do with the upholsterer than anything else. I wanted old school, traditional, not new style sleek.

Re: Wiring
Self canceling is mechanical, not electrical. I'd start with wiring and always look at grounding first. Improper grounding can do some funky things. I've been fighting this on mine recently. In the end, I had a bulb that was all honked up. But grounds were also an issue.

Hey Slicksters, remember me?
Hey Guys, I think it's been about 4 years since I logged in and posted here. Moved to Japan, parked the '61 and when I moved back she fired up like she was never gone. I've moved from Seattle to South Carolina and built a nice shop with a lift and a loft for my toys and the locals here love my Slick...

Alan,
I was going to post the same thing. It has his look all over it and I think I've seen it before. He has other wild rides like that if I recall.
