HMMMM...that would make a nifty camper.

I like digging in the dirt (gardening), shooting(pistol/rifle), reading, plunking on the mandolin and working on the slick. Rum is the other hobby of choice.

Had about 10 inches at my house....pretty much closed the city down.

I have little mechanical advice to add to all that's been said. I WILL say that I agree with cdherman: power steering is my favorite upgrade that's been done on my truck. (Stopping is over-rated. )

Ah! Another Pep Boys fan! I find some of the best deals there. Let us know if you can tell if there's any improvement after the installation.

As long as you didn't let any smoke escape, the electricals should still be salvageable...

Probably. I also put insulation under my headliner and in the doors....made the truck quite a bit quieter. It also has kept it much more comfortable this winter.

Personally, I would go with new wiring.

I purchased the full floor mat with insulation from LMC and am very pleased with it. The only modification I had to make was to punch out the pre-cut hole for the headlight dimmer switch. Made a HUGE difference in comfort level, as well.

Hits Chattanooga Trade & Convention Center this weekend...I may wander down there. Last year, there was a pretty nice Slick...'63 I think it was.
