Has anyone installed a one wire alternator on a 223 six? If so, what alternator and mounting brackets did you use?

Re: Loose/bad King Pins make a truck vibrate?
Loose king pins will not cause a shimmy. Worn tie rod ends or a steering gearbox that is out of adjustment may cause a shimmy when hitting a bump, but not hen you are traveling at 50-55MPH. You have another issue. Are you sure that the problem is in the front end? Does the steering wheel shake left ...

Hitched?
I need a trailer hitch for my '62 Uni and do not really want to fabricate my own. So, does anyone know of a commercially available trailer hitch that will fit my Slick?
Thanks,
Jake

Very nice! Did you build this from plans, or is it your own design? What is the wingspan?

Tumbleweeds' Tailgate
Hi All, The tailgate that came on Tumbleweeds (our 1964 F100 CC) is sure different. It appears to have been made commercially, but could possibly have been made by an excellent fabricator. Has anyone seen one like this before? I like the different look of this tailgate, but anyone can see what is in...

Re: Ignition switch upgrade?
I just replaced the ignition switch bezel in my '64 F100 and found it not to bad of a job. As a matter of fact, I had to remove the switch again the other day to repair some wires that the magic smoke had escaped from.

Paul,
The PO's son rear ended another driver and the grill, hood and left front fender needed to be replaced. They came from NM. Good eye!

Re: I am back!
Well, I finally got to drive Tumbleweeds today. Drove it about 3 miles to the Shell gas station in Tonopah, filled her up then headed back home. Of course, our grand daughter had to ride with me. What fun!!! http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s198/AZ-Bahaw/Tumbleweeds/RightSidebyFence_zpsf09a6353.jp...

Re: kick panel opening cover??
Here is a photo of the cover on the passenger side of our Slick, Tumbleweeds. There is an additional screw hole visible in the cover. Maybe one of the POs mounted a fire extinguisher there? Who knows... http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s198/AZ-Bahaw/1964%20F100%20Custom%20Cab%20Longbed/64%20F-100%...
