Beautiful work, as always!
I have to ask what's up with the pedals in the before photos. Are they welded together?

Re: looks like another secret mission
I was living in Swift Current when I first joined the forum but never ventured south of town too much so I don't remember that section. I think one of the worst in the area then was actually the #1 to Moose Jaw, believe it or not. I think it's been repaired since, but at the time that section could ...

Nice find!

Re: Upcoming News out of Arclight Fab
I get the impression that the kit is intended as a turn-key, mostly bolt-in solution, which would definitely appeal to those with limited experience. They were apparently able to do the full install of the suspension kit and 302/T5 combo in a '64 at the Dallas Autorama over a weekend, so I'm sure th...

Re: Upcoming News out of Arclight Fab
Me too, unfortunately. That’s $4600 for me after exchange rate, plus I’d have to ship cores all the way to Texas to get the dropped axle. Which in all honesty I’d probably get from Nostalgia Sid’s. The rear kit pieces do look nice though.

Re: External wood heat for the garage.
Nice fab work! Recirculation through a concentric tube would definitely up the efficiency, but I'd think you'd need to have the hot air outlet separated from the cold air return by a fair distance so the hot air actually disperses in the garage before being drawn back in. What you have looks nice an...

Re: Kathy said today that you can teach a old dog new tricks
:iagree: That's what I was thinking .. but wasn't 100% sure Would love to know the reason behind that change  My guess would be quicker assembly on the line, with the tradeoffs being clamping force and resistance to loosening under vibration. Perhaps they were able to consolidate some bolt si...

Upcoming News out of Arclight Fab
At long last, it appears new parts for 61-64 Slicks will be available from Arclight Fab soon, including a bolt-in suspension kit that yields 6" drop in the front and 7" in the rear (without cutting a hole in the bed floor), uni bed mounts, a 302 engine swap kit, and a new 3" tube axle...

Re: Flooring in my house
Nice work! I know from experience how much effort it can take to get the transitions to line up, particularly when walls aren't 100% true and square. that looks nice. you'll be glad you went with the vinyl planks instead of the pressed wood. my basement flooded when i was at slick stock this year an...

Potentially, there was a post on the HAMB indicating that he might be selling off existing stock on eBay.

Re: Iindustrial Chassis Still Open?
Well dang. That's too bad, but I'm sure he has his reasons.
That settles that I guess. Looks like I'll go old-school with a Nostalgia Sid's drop axle or DIY it with a spring-under-axle setup. Or wait and see what Arclight Fab comes out with...

It was briefly shown and mentioned in the second episode as well, where he's planning a trip to the wrecker to find a door handle. The black plate even contains the digits "352".

Re: What's happening?
Nice work M, we have had raised garden beds for some time now, they are good on your back LOL one thing we have noticed is that the water/ moisture quickly drains out of the soil, so make sure you have plenty of organic materials in the soil, plus some kind of Water saving crystals to help retain t...

Re: What's happening?
I've been busy thrashing on yard and garden stuff. My wife and I spent the last few weekends removing about 500 square feet of sod from the backyard to make room for our raised garden beds. We knocked out two of these, got them placed and filled with soil: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/967/40497464...
