65 F100 Body Drop

Has anyone body dropped a 65 F100? I am looking for some general info on what and where to cut and how to do the bed. I want to lower the truck but the kits available don't go low enough to give the stance I want and really don't want to get into a load of money just to lower it. How much have guys ...

So I am assuming its going to be around the middle of August, in the KC area, haven't found the exact date or location yet. I think my 65 will be up to a 3.5 hour drive by then if I'm not too busy to get away.

Long to short bed frame measurments????

Thanks for all the kind welcomes. My screen name is also my shop name, it is derived from my last name of Schlotterbeck (pronounced slaughterback). The truck is in pieces but I will try to find one of the before pics and get some engine pics soon. No MAJOR mods will be done to the driveline, just a ...

New guy with hot rod 63

Just thought I would do a little run down on myself. I'm new here but on just about every traditional hot rod forum there is. I'm 24 and a husband and father first, Hotrodder and GEARHEAD second. I've owned my 63 F100 since I was 15, and am almost 25, its seen several stages from stock to mud truck ...
