Re: Crown Vic Frame Swaps

I am in the process of getting my shortbed frame prepped and ready for a CV swap in a month (hopefully). The only obstacle I can see with myself, is making sure the wheelbase is measured and set correctly. Im doing mine with nothing but a bare frame right now. I've seen most people do theirs with th...

i wish everyone had drum brakes and no power steering. the road would be a much different place.

YES!!! Powersteering is for wussies... My mothers Mustang hasn't ever had powersteering on it... Besides you don't need PS to run 12's

Cab and front end lift off

I was curious if you could unbolt the cab, front radiator core and everything attached to the frame, and safely lift both off the truck frame with a car lift and not be worried about anything crunching or collapsing. Kinda like lifting off a cab of a newer powerstroke

My new 62!

As some of you may know, I posted a thread on "A slick I want but not sure" Well as a early 21st Burfday present to myself, I went and got it. 600 smackers and brought it home. This truck was a project that a guy in Parsons KS was doing but in the middle of the build, was killed in a car a...

Re: A slick i want but not sure!!

A couple comments: First, how is your state on a truck that may not have a title? That could be a deal breaker in some places. It is for me. Second, don't plan on getting any "big bucks" out of any 351W heads, those days are long gone. There are now so many aluminum and iron offerings fro...

A slick i want but not sure!!

Hey guys, a friend of mine I work with told me about a 1965 F100 shortbed slick that in the cell phone pictures didn't look so great... its just a frame, cab and a bed filled with a boat load of parts. Has a early 351W with a C6 behind it and thats all my friend knew about it. The guy was asking 600...

66 F250 Cummins

I had the idea a while back to do a 1966 Powerstroke, but then I changed my mind to do a 12V Cummins with the P pump since it would be much easier and cheaper... well someone beat me to it! S&%*!!!
