Frame Deminsions
Does anyone have any factory diagrams that shows measurements of a '66 frame with component locations/measurements. I can find a diagram for a '69 and later but not mid/early 60's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Fatman Mustang II
I respect your recommendations and appreciate the information you have extended me.......the only reason I suggested the two suspensions is bc I have these two available and am not looking to buy another setup that may not be used.

Jim I know how you feel, I'm in Raceland which is near where they say the center will travel, I just got in from putting my new fenders and doors away so I won't loose them. Just hope my new 4.6 I just got doesn't get screwed up being under the car port. These are the times I wish I had a garage. I ...

Re: Independent front suspension
Only thing I'm worried about with the Dakota kit is that I will be running a 4.6 and worried about the A/C compressor and Power Steering pump, with how low they hang on the engine.

Independent front suspension
I'm looking at pulling the front axle on my '64, in place for a independent front suspension. Any of you guys/gals that have done this swap have any suggestions on which set up to buy? I like the No Limit setup but also considering the Fatman Fabrications setup. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Are there any car guys working in parts stores anymore??
First off, let's not put NAPA on any kind of pedestal. At least down south here Napa simply hires the rejects that the rest have fired. Oh for those, Mom and Pop NAPA stores, they tend to know less than the others. Two days ago I walk into a local Mom and Pop Napa store and ask for a 20 foot roll of...

Re: Are there any car guys working in parts stores anymore??
Don't knock all of us young guys that work at the auto parts stores. I'm 33 and have been working retail auto parts for the last 12 years. I drive a '64 F100 daily and would park it behind the store. A lot of my customers would walk to the back of the store to see if mtruck was there before coming i...

Cruisin the coast is a fun event but has been going downhill the last few years. The guy that runs it is the same guy that runs the F100 supernationals. I strongly suggest going to all the little towns that have venues, theres always a lot of good food and entertainment. Plus the locals are always a...
