does anyone know where i can find the steel shim head gaskets?all I can find are the composite ones.Summit Racing has them for chevys,but not for 302's.The steel ones are less than 1/2 the thickness of the others for a free compression gain ...

I just pulled the heads off of my engine.The casting #is D80E.Does anyone know c.c. of them?I think they are around 69 cc,but I'm not 100% sure.A place here {Big D} has rebuilt heads for $85 a pop w/core,so I was thinking I would get some E7's.I believe those have 61 cc chambers.That way I'll have a...

A couple of weeks ago some TURDHEAD hit my uni and nearly ripped the bumper off.The Ins.adjuster said they would streighten the bumper and re chrome it 8) I thought I would do some of the prep work on it.I stripped the paint off of a painted bumper I have and started polishing out scratches,and grin...

I had a '93 mk viii w/4.10 and trac loc and still got 22/24 mpg and it would EAT UP stock 5.0's and GT's. :lol:
