Power disc brake/steering install on a 65 f100

Hey, long time no see! So I'm looking for good info on exactly what I'm going to need to do to complete a swap of both the manual drum brakes and manual steering to power disc brakes and power steering on my 65 F100. I have an incomplete picture, by which i mean "get a donor truck and pull your...

Re: Refinishing an engine block

No word from duplicolor yet, so I'll skip their engine enamel and do a more conventional clear coat like an acrylic maybe.

Re: Refinishing an engine block

I was afraid of that. How quickly would I have to apply the finish after sandblasting? Immediately would be best but I'll have to have another shop do the blasting and I may not be able to get to it until the day after.

Refinishing an engine block

So I'm making a coffee table out of an old 352 FE engine block thats lost the rest of its parts. The thing is covered in 45-odd years of grease an who knows what else, and I'll be having it sandblasted down to the metal, after which... Well thats just it, I'm not sure what to do after I've got the m...

Re: Door Rubber Issues.

We tried to return them, refused because they were installed. Silicone lubricant helped but didnt fix it. Dennis Carpenter seems to be a popular choice for door rubber.

Door Rubber Issues.

Alright, this problem has vexed me for the winter months and it's got me stuck. I have a 1965 F-100, and we got it without any door rubber. Doors fit fine, but were, of course, very noisy when shut, opened, driven, etc. We live in the general vicinity of the LMC warehouse and haven't had problems wi...

Power Steering?

I've got a 1965 F-100. Gearbox needs work anyways so i'm contemplating a power steering upgrade. What's the community's widely accepted kludge for a power steering conversion on this year?

*i'm still a little new to this so feel free to point out pertinent info i've left out =D*

i agree with ^^^^^

if your gonna pay to ship that sucker you're entitled to a picture of every single angle on that vehicle. I always check the cab mounts, they seem infamous as the first thing to go, at least here in the midwest.

lol. hopefully he will find a good balance between that "cool" truck he really wants and something halfway sensible. unlike myself. nothing sensible about getting a 45 year old truck that needs more prayer than gasoline for your first car. already got me a couple dates with some gearhead ...
