Re: inner fenders

Just to make sure I understand, you are looking for the 61-64 type inner fender to install on the 65? Sorry for the confusion. I just looked closer at my original post and I messed up. I am currently using the rounded design but has a fair amount of corrosion on the upper lip of both inner fenders....

Hi MAC,

Looking for left and right inner fenders for my 65 F100. Looking for the rounded style vs the rounded design found in the '65's

Re: Mid Atlantic tee shirts

I know I've been out of the loop for a while, but really like those shirts, anything ever come of them. Would definitely take a couple. That truck looks familiar except for the grille. Charlie Haven't ordered any yet. Responses/interest coming in in drips & drops. Will wait a couple/few weeks a...

Re: accelerator cable

Maybe you could modify your existing mount so that the bottom bolt stays the same. but you run the cable through the top bolt hole, and turn the center fitting into the second bolt mounting hole.. that might make it work without TOO much work Thanks "Stick". Laying awake one night I thoug...

Re: accelerator cable

Marty, You can remove the stock cable, and that odd bracket bolted to the firewall that Ford used. Inside, grind off the little ball on the accelerator pedal where he old cable connects. Drill a new hole in the firewall about 3/4 inch over and about 1/2 inch up from the original hole. Then install ...

Re: radio speaker & carpet

can't help you a whole lot with the carpet but I had the same experience with the speaker issue. couldn't find the correct fit at any of the China auto parts stores. I did find one from Classic Car Speakers (m). If your truck is a '65, the 5"x7" oval 8-10ohm $39.95 is what you want (scroll...

Mid Atlantic tee shirts

Hey MACsters, During our Fall Flash, we discussed tee shirts specifically for the Mid-Atlantic chapter. Rich has designed a graphic for those tee shirts. We are thinking on a gray shirt. What would you prefer light or a darker shade of gray? Let me know if you are interested in ordering and sizes/ho...

accelerator cable

I recently replaced the original valve covers on the 390 with these Holley covers. They are however a little higher then the original covers so the accelerator cable has to take a hard bend where it comes out the firewall. As a result, the cable is binding up – cold weather seems to make it worse. I...

Re: Fuel Float - Im keeping you guys busy

Heck just buy a new one from MAC's or Carpenter - cheap enough- about $5 plus shipping. By the time you mess around trying to fix the existing one or scrounge around for a used one you could have the new in and know it's good. No telling if a used one is any better then what you have now. :2cents:

Re: Hurrican Sandy comin

Dwight – glad to hear things are good across the pond. We kept power all through over here so the beer stayed cold. Most likely will be cutting down a tall Locust tree which is leaning. Seems to be the only “damage”. All in all made out good. Lots of folks had it bad though. Didn’t know you’re in in...

Heavier rain has been falling last few hours winds around 23mph. Good luck as it heads up your way. Worst to be around 8pm here.
