I think they are probably better than the paper type in the long run.
Oil has a way of trapping dirt and dust. Thats just my opinion no proof to back it up.

I know my 64 has 1 1/16 bore wheel cylinders on the front, I just bought them from my local parts store Crow Burlingame they were around 40.00 each and the rear which are 7/8 bore were 8.99 each. I don't know what you guys mean about single sided or dual? I only ask just for my own knowledge. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your back, there is no rush because I'm driving it with the 4:10's anyway. I would prefer the 3:25 over the 3:70, but like I said I'm driving it and there are a hundred other things I'm doing to it right now.
