Re: great deal I found

Not trying to pass judgement here; the service may be the best thing since radial tires, but anyone interested might do well to perform a Google search on MCA. The main sales contention seems to be "more value than AAA"; in my experience that might well ring true (that's not a high bar, I...

Re: great deal I found

someone had told me about hagerty, and my original was through USAA, but what made me go with MCA is that they offer so many additional benefits, they even pay the lawyers to fight moving violations lol...i have never seen a roadside assistance plan that offers so much and for less than 20 a month.....

tires rubbing fenders

I installed the DJM dream beams and not the stock 15 in tires rub the fender when i make a turn and seem to bottom out when i hit a big bump even though the shocks are brand new. A low profie tire seems like it will take care of the problem, what size tires are you guys using with the dream beams? t...

opinions on wheel adapters

I have a 65 f100 with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern, I want to put boss 338 wheels on the truck, but they do not make them with the ford bolt pattern. Does anyone have any experience with wheel adapters? any info or opinions would be appreciated

I agree with you Rick, I'm not looking to buy because I have a 65 that I am working on now, but I like cruising the classifieds looking for slicks. It amazes me the prices people want for junk, I just thought I would share this one with everyone since it was so outrageous.

I have to agree, I would offer 200 because this thing looks like a heap that would take a couple thousand just to make it road worthy. If what you can see looks like this, I can only imagine what the rest is like. The seller claims to have sold 11 other slicks in the same condition for 2500, I told ...

yes I agree, I thought it sounded a little on the high side for a column right out of a truck, I asked if it was completely rebuilt, he said no, and the rebuilt one would cost 475
