Yhea everything up front is in real good shape, it's just with my shoulders being the way they are and as much as I love the truck it can be a real chore sometimes, plu my daughter is showing an intrest in driving and figure I might make it a bit more user friendly, just a thought. Power steering questions AGAIN! Lol
Ok I have a 89 Toyota power assist steering box ( I have a brother who is a Toyota landcruiser nut FJ-40's are his thing) and I was wondering if anybody has used an electric power steering pump, for such a modification? I think most cars that use such pumps are smaller, so would weight be an issue? ...

Steering wheel questions 64
I am thinking of replacing my stock wheel with a Flat 4 spoke sprint car type wheel, I know I will have to bend my turn signal wand, and I also plan on moving the shifter to the Floor. I'd love to see some pics of wheels you are running in your trucks. And brand you have used, and adapters. Thanks i...

Re: Power brake add on. What to use ?
Good info there. I was just curious if there was a master cylinder to use to make my original set up power drum brakes. Really don't want to do a disc conversion at the moment. So I guess 76 ford f-100 m/c and power booster would work. Am I correct in thinking this?

Re: NEWB with a 64 Shortbox Fleetside
Rick thanks, I have since added U.S. wheel steelies to it with 40 something stainless center caps. I'm very please with how it looks now other than the high altitude stance on the rear. I have to drop it a couple of inches this spring to get it right. The trucks is very solid and straight, and by fa...

Re: NEWB with a 64 Shortbox Fleetside
Update. Lol only a year or two late. I still am running the original manifolds, but a guy in Cali found me a set of ram horns for a hell or a price, so com spring I am going to duals. Long time coming for that. I switched the shift tube, and still have a sloppy shifter. I had a buddy who does vintag...

Re: Sloppy 3 on the tree in my 64
The cab bushings are original, and in marginal shape. I really need to replace them. Who sells them? I have yet to find a good company to deal with on this truck. I'm open for references. Haha

Re: Y block starter question.
You can also take a small piece of lead out of a wooden pencil and put it in the groove and turn the bendix and it will jump back in place. A old part man showed me that trick about 1957 in TEXAS. Hope some of these tricks help. Which groove are you speaking of! I am very curios of this method just...

Re: Ed Big Daddy Roths push truck AND MORE!
Does anybody have a side pic of Roths truck from the side ? I'd love to see what else it says on the door? I am looking for NHRA awards trucks also, they gave them away to top eliminator at some meets.
