Thanks
Thanks guys...I replaced the brush behind the wheel with the one new one I had and I have the brush that was there. The wire and spring are broken on the old brush but I found a click pen spring that will work perfect and I can solder a new wire to connect the top and bottom pieces of the brush. I j...

hmmm
The way mine looks is there is the one spring/brush underneath the wheel that contacts the surface of back plate then there is a hole that passes through the wheel and the plate has a "bump" on it. I believe another brush goes down through that hole. I found a picture from another site...t...

Re: 1966 F100
Starting to strip the 66 F100 pulling the doors, bed, rear axle, Custom Cab trim and dash. The cab is rustier than I thought, it's scrap yard bound. Don't suppose that with your "custom cab trim" you by chance have a drivers side interior door "C" trim piece you could part with?...

Question re: Horn Brush under Horn Button
So when i bought my 64, everthing for the horn was missing past the steering wheel. I've collected what I thought was everything I needed including 1 contact brush (because that is all the diagrams showed). I borrowed a puller from Pep Boys and pulled the wheel this weekend. I found the contact brus...

Bumper
That rear bumper that's on the truck. Was that a factory option or aftermarket? Mine has the same exact bumper.

Trim?
Looks like the door trim holes were "used". Don't suppose you have any of the panel trim pieces knocking around? Still searching for drivers side "C" piece to finish our puzzle.

Protecting cab mounts?
Since my former desert truck is now in the tropics, I wanted to figure out how I could prevent or at least slow the cancer formation that is inevitable down here. I bought the Por 15 kit to do the interior floor pans. I should have plenty left over so I was wondering if I should hit the cab mounts w...

Hey Blackwater...I tried to figure out what year/spec your truck is from your profile but couldn't find anything. What size engine do you have? I was looking into air for ours since we are in Sunny South Florida. We are running a 223 and I spoke with the guys at Classic. They said there should be no...

Parking Brake Handle replacement
So I have the broken remains of the original parking brake handle still attached and I've received my replacement handle. Anyone have a trick for getting the steel retainer post/pin out? I can get a grab on it with pliers but there's no chance it's coming out by just pulling on it.

Howdy!
Just found and joined this forum. We are proud new parents of a 64 Slick. We've had her about a month and have been tinkering ever since. I found her in Colorado and had her shipped to FL since there aren't many to choose from down here that aren't cancer ridden. Here she is before we bought her: ht...
