Got started in earnest with the wiring today, A/C power hooked up, wiper motor switch installed, and the ignition switch in. The original light switch change over to the EZ wire harness is causing me to have gas. Can't decipher the Ford to GM scheme. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The big is...

It will fit... Watch out for the manifolds in relation to the steering box and frame rails. You may want to just switch to headers. While rebuilding my 292, again, I decided to add a reverse switch to the column shift 3 speed. Figured it was a good time with th front clip off. I didn't like how close my belly was to the steering in my 64 either, so I just put a 13" grant wheel on it.

It gave me the needed room and a pretty good daily upper body workout.

One question.

Is it common to have oil coolers on the inside of the radiator?

I thought they are supposed be in front of the radiator, so the hot air doesn't transfer to the oil cooler.?.

Just curious.

Before I filled it with gas for the first time, I threaded a 3/8 hose barb just above the fuel filler so I could hook up a hose to coil up.

Seems to work well.
