Wanted: 64' front bumper brackets
Anyone have a pair of bumper brackets they can sell me? My bumper is the one with two mounting holes on each side. The 64 brackets look like the 65-66 but they actually bolt to the frame horns and not incorporated into them.
Thanks
Sal
Thanks

Re: Looking for clutch linkage and column parts
charlie - Not to bring up an old thread, but I also need the bushing on the end of the clutch rod that attaches to the Z bar. There wasnt one there so dont know is one is even required. The hole to rod size is much larger. What did you come up with?

Re: 59 axle fit in a 64??
So for the inquiring minds....the axle fits! You do need to drill the holes for the lower shock mounts and use about 6-7 degree shims.

59 axle fit in a 64??
So I was offered a lowered axle for a 59 F100 to trade for my stock 64 axle. Ive looked around on the net and the measurements are the same. BUT, will it fit in a slick? I understand there are no lower shock mount holes, but anything else?? Its lowered 3.5 inches and the guy is building a stock look...

Re: King Pin replacement
Ok so the bushings are actually in the spindles right? And the pin may or may not need to be pressed out. If the bushings are in the spindles, I should be able to leave the axle in the truck and not remove it right? Lastly, I need to ream the axle before the new pin goes in? Sorry for all the questi...

King Pin replacement
Ive never done this and need to. Whats all involved in replacing the king pins. There is a lot of play at each hub and want to rebuild the front end. Do I need any special tools etc.

Oil pump, is it right??
I replaced the oil pump on my 292 Y last night. The OE one looks different than the one I got from Napa. Im attaching some pics. First off, the small spring type washer that goes around the drive shaft in the pump was broken when I pulled it off. I couldn't find another one so I installed it with ou...
