Grump, I'll answer for Skip and me. 1st I have an AOD so I don't have the stress of constant shifting like with a stanard trany. 2nd I got a hell of a deal on a new shifter. Now you got me thinking about it!
And I am almost right as Skipper!

This weekend the top of the hood won the battle. I have had nothing trouble with the top of the hood and even had to sand down to metal in a couple of spots. The battle continues again.

Re: 64 Tweety Bird
Polished the cab today and wet sanding it to 2500. It's a bitch when you find minor places that don't measur eup to what I am wanting this to be. Found a couple of places I have to touch up with paint and even found a area I didn't have enough clear on. SO I am going to have to do some touch up. You...

Well with the help of Uncle Skip, I am back on track to the 64 short bed flareside. Guess it only lets me load 3 pictures per posting. Anyay we test fitted the doors the last weekend and I post pictures of that Tuesday. They came out great since we had to put a new cab roof on. Skip really has encou...

Dude, I did mine and even had Skip look at it. He blessed it off except he suggested I straighten out the neck more (which I haven't done yet). If I did it, I promise you can do it. I assume that the uni bed is steel and I do recommend having the bed off, it is so much easier. Also rust coat the fra...
