Gerald is right. The FE series motors he refers to all have the intake manifold as a part of the cylinder head. The bell housing bolt pattern is round on the top and the bell housing is cast directly into the transmission housing and is not removable. The most simple answer for the 429/46 "385...

No it wont I got my 66 here for a grand. Got a old retired car hauler here in Michigan that still gets out on the raod and he has a 64 f100 to boot.

RCB you need to come out to the Show in June. Lots of Slicks last year, some fridges, some old f1's, and some Merc trucks from Canada eh'. It's a great show, if you liked the Basement, you will love Sins of Steel

Mines the white 66 in the Poor Boys display downstairs, 100% original except for dropped beams, flipped axle, red and white pleated seat, Kustom 56 Buick Hubcaps. Got lots of plans for it, now just need the motivation to follow through. She's tons of fun the way she sits.

Being I still have good oil pressure, and didnt see any metal shavings on the plug or in the filter do you think I hurt it ? I ran it for about 2-3 minutes trying to pinpoint the squeek. I want to order up some chrome "oe" style wheel vintuque wheels. I am thinking 15 x 7 right? what about back spacing? I would like to go 8 and have some more wheel hanging towards the bed. Anybody got any insight here. Thanks
