a magnet will tell you what you have.. they may be aluminum that is annodized in order to polish.. that has to come off easiest and cheapest is a gallon of greased lightning you can get it at lowes or home depot about 7 bucks find a shallow pan just big enough to fit bezel in,cover with greased ligh...

its built to 347 around 400 hp 420 tq roller motor... i think they put the high volume pump in without knowing it?not really sure,they couldnt really tell me anything how or why it happened at least it was caught before install.welded up pan and re-paint and new standard pump

that was from putting a high volume oil pump in a stock pan and a so called mechanic with 35+ yrs experience didnt catch..should have seen a leak on the dyno,small but noticable,and no QC at all.but one phone call and they made it right..gave me a chance to open the motor up and check things out.mak...
