Thanks for sharing your methods. I feel more confident about seemingly simple cab mount and floor panel replacement.

Cutting Back The Clutter
In 2015 the 65 F-100 was mostly apart and ready to start cleaning up for paint. Things happened and it got tacked back together to roll around. I'm kicking the idea around to simplify. Make the F-100 road worthy, sell the 65 F-250, tractor and trailer. That would go a long way to cleaning up the sho...

Re: 1965 F-250 Rear Springs
Thanks, I had a set made at Alcan in Colorado. Thanks for the link, it is good to have other options. Last week I received the springs. They tried something else other than stock like I asked for. Just a hint here, I took video, pictures and typed out the measurements. All this confirmed my case an...

Re: I am ready, just hope I have something to drive
Well I am ready to go. My 65 is down and so is my Econoline so not sure what I will be driving but I will be there. My Grandson Laythen is going to be with me this Year so I am looking forward to having him attend. One year I'll make it. Wished I had stopped back around 2000. I was in the Northern ...

1965 F-250 Rear Springs
Mine have 11 leaves on the primary and 4 on the overloads. Looking for a very good used pair or NOS. I am also getting estimates on having them made. Will consider a light spring pack with air bags. What do you have?
Thanks,
Thanks,

A huge thanks on the headliner idea. I've been working with hardwood floors in the house and I think if sealed correctly would make a durable bed floor. Only issue with your wood etching is it can be spotted from the air. Likely not the attention you would want if you decide to cut loose one day.

Sorry for late response. I have not used any of their products but did talk to them about another project. Seem like actual car people. I also am not sure exactly what you are looking for but they list bench seat covers for 66's. www.stockinteriors.com I was saving my original seat for just an occa...

Can't say on the engine. It is an AMC 360 and I've never opened one up other than valve cover and intake gaskets. I remember the ones I worked on used Ford ignition and much if not all of the steering column components were GM. They used Chryslers 727 transmission.

Re: my shipwrecked '63
Never owned a Jeep. My experience as a mechanic the older Cherokees are pretty sturdy compared to the latter 90's models. A customer had an 82 and 84 Cherokee both had 360s. He said milage was 12-13 with out a trailer. Either of them pulled a camper well. In case you hear negative things about the J...

Still need a seat cover for an original cloth seat. This is factory, not the newer fat foam insert seat.
