Re: Hello ya ol' greasy greasers!
My wife bought me a couple of sun blocking tarps to ease working in the heat. Built the frames just in time for the cooler weather to blow in. There is always next year.

Re: Cob Webs . . . Tumbleweeds
I think the owner should turn this site over to someone who is interested in maintaining it. With the price of new vehicles climbing still folks will keep looking behind at what was. As long as the prices don't get too stupid for these old trucks. Why would anyone consider a bump side when they coul...

Can't Respond To Post.
Doesn't matter which post. The last two attempts take me back to the title with my post and other responders post missing.

If it was reading wrong before and seems to operate normally it probably had the 4.56 axle originally. Do you know the current axle ratio?

Stinks to loose a pet, especially one you've had that long. We lost our son 5 years ago, we had 6 (now 5) dogs that keep us distracted. We lost one little fellow last year that was too brave for his own good and that is what got him. May have been different if the big dogs hadn't stayed behind with ...

Re: Rheostat For In Cab Gas Tank
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking for. Do you need the resistance values of the sending unit? If so, 73 ohms empty and 10 ohms full. I doubt that's what you are looking for but I need some more info please. That helps, thanks'. If I am aloud to test a few without buying them I can pin it dow...

Rheostat For In Cab Gas Tank
Got a new fuel gauge some time back that reads wrong. I forget the ohms but they matched a one from a list of old Chevrolet ohm values. Would someone be kind enough to share a Napa, Parts Plus, ect Ford rheostat part number?
Thanks'

Re: Finally Started The 352 FE To 65' 430 MEL Engine Swap
Ok, so I got tired of the noise and projects piling up in the heat. Had it done by a shop that's pretty good. Only cost $400 for the full system. Here are the photos with the center dump exhaust manifolds. Never owned a quiet Slick, been wanting to do this for years. http://ford-mel-engine.com/viewt...

Hope everyone had a great day and remembered the reason for the day. Did a program at veteran's park this morning and poppy sales yesterday. Re: Been a while.......
Every once in a while I'll see a deal but lately they've had absurd price tags. A Blue Book comparison puts my 65 F-250 at around $20,000. I wouldn't pay near that much for it.
EDIT: And it is sound for 1,200 mile round trips.

OT: 1967 Single Wheel F-350 Front Brakes
Hello, I scraped a 67 dually some years back and was wondering if the single wheel F-350 shared the skinny F-250 brakes or if it was a variation using the same brake shoes as a 67 F-350?
Thanks'

Broken record here: Would help keep traffic up if we could post photos directly to the site. I'm not talking about a copy and paste deal with a third party site but something that will permanently stay on this forum. The MEL engine forum went through a server change 5 or so years back. Pictures foll...

Re: another interesting truck.
I never knew there were Edsel trucks. I saw this one in a museum in Phoenix. Ford trucks were painted white and green, badged as Edsels and shipped to Edsel dealers. I looked on the web for photos of F100 and F250s, but could only find the larger trucks. https://flic.kr/p/2ofYuxE https://flic.kr/p/...

Like your hood work, a lot of us don't have the confidence, patience and skill to pull it off. I'll add this build to my other build threads for reference.
