I've got a 65 f100 and was wondering if I could lower the back of the truck by relocating the leaf spring shackles and springs higher on the frame and notching the frame for the axel? I would cut the floor on the box to allow clearence( If needed) ,and the two piece drive shafts wouldn't give me pro...

I agree with Shawn F, For the money POR 15 is worth the money, Just for the piece of mind. I've even sprayed it on to my clawfoot tub ,I Sprayed it on the porcelain and six years later ,still no flaws.

Well what you need is a orbital sander for your prodject,this is also called a D-A sandeder(dual Action) it will be run off of your air compresser and you can buy a cheap one at any home depot or menards store. The next thing is sand paper, you say the slick has been painted before and you can tell....

Help! I Need info on buying some used driveshafts for my 65

Hello all, I'm a new member and I am looking for some driveshafts for my 65 f100 . I bent/twisted the ol' ones while trying to show off to a buddy yes I know (CLEVER)....Anyway it's a 65 V8 four speed truck.
Also any info on lowering the truck would be greatly appreciated. :?
