Re: Changing Rear Window Advice Please

Thanks, guys. Brian, my wife is an avid knitter and crocher so we have lots of those hooks around the house. Should I do it form inside the cab or from the bed or does it not matter?

Thanks,
Danny

Changing Rear Window Advice Please

I need to change my rear window and was hoping for some advice. The rubber is really good, very flexible as it was changed a few years ago. Can I save the rubber or do I need to replace it? If I can save it, how do I remove it without damaging it?

Thanks,
Danny

Another Brake Light Question...

Hi Guys, I did a search and got a ton of input but wanted to ask because I still can't fix it... I have rear running lights when the head lights are on and blinkers work too. But no brake lights. I took the two wires off the stop light pressure switch and ran completed the circuit with my test light...

Re: 62 Brakes

Thanks, Skip, Rich and Charlie. I looked and I do indeed have single piston cylinders. Here's a photo... http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l275/drcmusic7/photo-61.jpg So, if I go to Advance and buy dual piston cylinders, will they work? What do I need to do to hook up the dual piston cylinders prope...

62 Brakes

Hi Guys,

I'd like to clean up my brakes and give them a good overhaul. I'll also replace the hoses. However, I'd like to keep everything stock. Which outlet do you guys recommend as the best place to buy everything?

Thanks,
Danny

Looks great! Well done. By any chance, do you have a picture of the tail gate on? I really like the way you did it.

Re: Window visors

I got mine from LMC. I really like the way they look. It's just one screw that holds them up. They stay up without the screw though. I have the same type visors on my VW and they have three screws. They don't come with the screws so you'll need to use what you have or pick up some small ones. My win...

Re: Installing new fuel pump, any advice?

Thanks, guys. I didn't forsee anything funny in the process but just wanted to double check. I picked one up from O'Reillys. Once it gets a little cooler here in Nashville I'll change it.

Thanks,
Danny

Installing new fuel pump, any advice?

Hi Guys,

I'm going to be installing a new fuel bump on my 62 with a 223. The current one has the very cool glass bowl, but it's leaking.

Any advice or tips before I install the new one?

Thanks,
Danny

Floor mat recommendation please

Hi Guys,

I'd like to get a floor mat for over the carpet in my cab. What do you guys recommend? Is there a good aftermarket floor mat? I saw a nice mat on Tom's site for later model trucks then mine. Is there something similar for my 62?

Thanks,
Danny

Thanks, guys! I appreciate you getting back to me. I'm glad to know I was thinking about it the right way. I'll give NAPA a call and go from there.

Danny (Hunters 64), Thanks for the link! I didn't know they were in town. I may give them a call too.

Please check my thinking...

Hi Guys, OK, so twice now I've taken my truck about 5 miles to Lowes. Truck started and ran great. Went into the store, did my shopping, and came out and couldn't start the truck. I just got that wree wree wree sound. I look under the hood, everything's fine. After various attempts and fear of flood...
