Re: Did Max finish his truck?
I am alive and well fellas! Thanks Mac for poking me on FB to this notice. I do lurk here but have not participated as often as I did (or should). Shame on me. Truck is still apart but just about everything is done meaning sheetmetal isn't rusty, nothing is leaking and basically everything looks new...

Those toolboxes come with labels if you're so inclined to do that. I have the same one and decided it looked better not to.

I remember Googling the Ford Truck plant in San Jose once where my Slick was built. I think it's a mall now.

Rock Auto does a good job in my opinion of giving you as many choices as possible from different manufacturers when you need a part.

Re: Nobody ever sells a good used car!
A few months back I bought a used 1996 F-150 that the owner had sitting for awhile. Good tune-up, few bottles of fuel injector cleaner and a power wash and it's literally a brand new truck again. There are deals out there and people do have to sell things for different reasons.

I not only watched a bunch of his vids, I also made the mistake of going on that builders forum he's on and looking at other projects there. I think I may have gone through breakfast, lunch and dinner in one setting.

Re: My Monster Go Kart Build
Pretty cool! Is there an advantage to having the rear wheels inside the frame like that as opposed to outside? Seems less stable? Maybe I'm just letting my own driving get in the way...
