I also have 2 Mustangs. I may get another Slick one day if can find the right truck. Just wanted to say H...

Hi Everyone - sort of.........
I am on here all the time - tablet.
My tablet doesn't like the site so I don't log in but I still look several times a week.
I don't often get my laptop out anymore - the tablet is just too quick and easy.
I got out my laptop today so thought I would just drop a Hello in here.

Re: I bought another one.
Plan?
Drive it.
I may rub out the paint some.
Bit by bit shoot the underside with something to protect it.
There are some scrapes in the drivers door I will probably touch up.
I don't want it perfect - Diggin the clean old farm truck look.

Re: facebook (what you might be missing)
One thing about FB is you can control what you see and don't see quite well. I am on there for several things I can't get here. My antique model planes has a FB page but no forum on the SAM web site. Cat groups - I give alot of advice in those. I am also in a couple model car groups there - I don't...

It's here!
Been waiting on a tool to finish my cab dis-assembly.
It came yesterday. Now I can get the last of it apart to finish paint prep.
As Skip would say "One more bite of the elephant".
It would have been SO much easier if I just left the truck beige..............

Been an eventful week.
This week I started doing both of the Lincoln runs everyday at work. It's cool, I wanted it. I had been previously doing just the AM run. Friday I was on a run in between (I can't just sit there for an hour and a half). I was on and over pass behind a cattle trailer I had just let over, he couldn't...

Re: Bending a hood?
My 64 hood has the same problem,
I think it's like Kevin's was (it hasn't been on the truck in 2 years).
I am also going to weld some gussets to the brace where it curves by the hinges.
I've seen them distort there AFTER restoration. Kinda hard on the new paint.

Re: Informal Survey
I have seen homemade bed covers from sheet aluminum.
1x1 square tube frame, aluminum soldered sheet onto it. Gas struts.
I saved a link for soldering aluminum with a propane torch, it cuts down on warpage.

I think those would really good on there Steve.
That comes from a guy who usually doesn't care for bed rails.

Re: "What does the Fox say?"
Finally some proper tires and wheels. Plus that gaping maw of a hole in the front bumper fixed. I needed the 14s that were on here fopr my work van anyway. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn38/GregDvsn/1987%20Mustang%20LX%20Convertible/87ponys2_zpsm993nz7u.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Anyone know what this booster is from?
Wow, got me.
I think I would just do a dual master and the booster that works with that.
Bill W used one with an FE that was about that size.
