i have a 66 in n.c., not done all the way ,but a real nice driver

i have one in omaha
actually have both not sure if they are in great shape
but should be repairable ......& the price isright

if you really want to install the auto, I did it on my 66. i had to cut the cross member that Tom was talking about, but I cut both ends and added plates so that the c/m is removable. works fine and is a helluva easier than pulling out the engine to get the tranny out. hope this helps some. Jeff

i changed my 66 from a 4-speed to a C-6 auto. I used a lokar shifter. worked out great after we fabbed up a kick-down cable. make sure that you're trans will fit between the cross member and the floor boards. I cut mine on both sides and put flange plates on so that it's removable and still maintain...

that looks nice. you'll be glad you went with the vinyl planks instead of the pressed wood. my basement flooded when i was at slick stock this year and i replaced it , the laminate floor, with vinyl. love it. are you putting down the under layment it calls for? just curious. makes it feel kinda scwo...
