Wow, Simple Green is ridiculous...
Every hillbilly and his brother has been in and under my truck lately, and I've learned I can tell the nitwits from the good ol' boys by their reaction to my cabmounts... Having encountered significantly more of the former than the later, and realizing that I've got to get this truck sold somehow, I...

Just put it back online...
Got tired of the spam, but put it back online anyways(on here too)... I was hoping to get a little out of it to put down on a house, but couldn't get it sold fast enough. My wife is due on the 15th of April, so I really need to get my butt in gear - I'll probably end up taking a loss on this one, es...

I'll even drive it up to you in KC. Who wants a 250 when you can have a shortbed? Just kidding, I have two 250s as well:) But seriously, take my shorty...

Re: 66 shortbed 429/C6
Slickmainer, seven years doesn't seem that far away... I can do that. I was thinking more along the lines of William in that I'd be without my slick addiction until I retired, which really bummed me out. Max, you mention what I am afraid of most - I don't want to sell my girl for peanuts after all t...

Re: 66 shortbed 429/C6
The diamond in the rough is this house I'm after. That's what I'm saying, I am going to have to ditch the slick. Sooner or later is what I'm fighting myself over.

66 shortbed 429/C6
Well gentlemen, I've come to a crossroads. Second time in a month as it were... Long story short - my wife is due in the spring with #2(surprise!), and I'm buying my first home this week. Over the last three+ years I've taken the sweet little shortbed from a squirrelly weekend beast to a legit daily...

Re: 250 inline six withT5
That's a sweet site Anthony, thanks. The 200 is quite different from the 250. In addition to less displacement and consequently torque, most 200s don't have the sbf connections(tranny, accessories, etc...). Slowly but surely, the internet is divulging a little more info for my little 250. I never wo...

regret? come now...
I've extensively trolled the fordsix and sponser websites. Also been drudging through years worth of maverick, granada, and falcon pages. I've got a spectacular little six book as well. The things you mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg, which I've already run across. I was just hoping someone...

oz head
The OZ head, aluminum intake, and 390 holley I'm looking at appear to be a good deal then. I've got 2 complete/running at time of removal 250's($50 for one and $200 for the other). The T5 is the last big piece that I've yet to secure. Heaven knows the odds and ends will kill me, but I feel like I'm ...

OZ head
Yes indeed. I have my eyes on a top end from the land down under that has already been rebuilt to specs that will get me where I want to be power wise(already stateside fortunately). Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I'll have it in a month or so.

In a 1966 F100 SWB
From what I can tell, the only thing holding the little sixes back is a crapper of a head/intake. I'm looking to get about 180rwhp and 210 lbft. I'm running a 429/c-6 combo right now. Loads of fun, but I want to drive it everyday, not once a week.

250 inline six withT5
After doing a ton of reading on the engine and trans, I've just about got my mind set on this. Lots of great support from the falcon, maverick, granada sites. Anyone here done something similar? Searching for "250" on ford related sites is not exactly productive. Also, does anyone living n...

Do fat tires fit?
Has anybody run 325/60 r15 tires on a 66 SWB? They would be a little shorter than 31 inches and between 12.5 & 13 inches wide. I have 275/60 r15 on there now and it looks like there is plenty more room, especially in the rear. Pics would be great, as would any info regarding necessary backspacin...

I can definitely go with the wheels first... As for the wife - Let's just say I've desensitized her over the last three years. Started with a Focus, transitioned slowly to a Cherokee, and now a Slick! She found this one and liked it, so I bought it for her. Assuming I can keep it on the road, this w...
