Re: Ignition switch bezel same as mustang?
I bought a mustang one, the inside diameter is the same as the truck one but the outside diameter is much smaller on the mustang one, the truck one is available but, the quality was poor on the macs one I bought, I was lucky enough to find a truck one NOS. John

Re: All Ford day Sydney dragway 28th july
Hi John, It was good to meet and chat with you yesterday, the truck is a real credit to you mate. I hadn`t seen your post after mine, and where you were, was as usual the last place we looked. Maybe you could use all your left overs to build a F100 Slick :P I haven`t had time to see if I have a set...

Hi, I fitted mine on the passenger side, the firewall is further back so I could fit the AC unit almost flush with the dash & there is plenty of leg room, I know the dash looks reversed (RHD) but I believe the firewall still has the same shape, mine is a 1964 AC unit, i think a newer one would p...

Hi Alan, good to meet up with you yesterday, was a top day, I think it was probably the biggest Ford day, somehow I managed to pick up the best commercial vehicle trophy. John

Re: 1964 Mercury M700 truck
I am at a loss for words. And folks around here will tell you how rare that is. Your workmanship is off the scale. And Toyz will tell you that the Comet is my personal holy grail. But I have to ask, in the first picture, is that a Cortina lurking there? A twin cam Cortina or a single stick Cosworth...

Re: 1964 Mercury M700 truck
Looks awesome, LOVE the black/red combo. I don't think I've ever seen a merc here in oz until I'd seen yours. Definitely a rare beast down this way! You've done an outstanding job. Did the dynamat floor covering work ok? I'm toying with doing that myself when it's time. Thanks Leeroy, I like how it...

Re: 1964 Mercury M700 truck
Once again WOW, what a combo. excellent workmanship. Curious as to what the fuel mileage will be when hauling that on your 1200 miles. Im considering doing something simialr so any advice would be helpful. Just back from the trip, the truck cruises great, sits on 60mph at 2500rpm on a good road, on...

Finally got the tray fitted to the truck last weekend, still needs a bit of finishing off but is ready enough to load up to make its first big trip with the comet aboard, heading to the winternationals drag event, 1200 mile round trip, hopefully everything goes to plan.
