Jeff :D Jeff, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner I'm seldom on what a lot of guys are now calling the mother site, I hardly...

Re: Fiberglass headliners

Tough,

We'll be on 7th AVE Space # 787, if not space 787 then directly behind it on space 876. A white sad looking '66 SW will be on one of the two spaces. Being on a borrowed (bought) space I'm not sure how we'll be laid out. Looking forward to meeting you!

Re: A little Ranger help?

I believe the bucket seat (Ranger) codes changed between 65 and 66. My 65 is code F81. It has red bucket seats and console. The '65 we bought in Jan has F81 Body code on the Vin Plate. It still has the buckets, the ( red ) console, the, 3 spd. The 240 six has been replaced by a 289. I'm not sure wh...

Re: 223 6cyl Air Conditioning

I knew someone would have experienced AC in a 223 powered slick. They had, thanks Kieth for your memory. I expected some one had installed one, sure enough. Check out "broke old prospector"s post (with pics) over on Ford Truck Enthusiast. It's nice to know what your buying for your birthda...

223 6cyl Air Conditioning

Is any body running AC on a 223? Will the little motor handle it? I suspect mounting a little Sanden one would have to be a home fabricated project. Any thoughts?

Re: Slick value by YOM

Good Morning IMO, around my place that's not worth much! The XL100 is a one off. The '64 "XL CAB Package" has so far turned up just six units. They're not worth much yet because most folks don't think they are real. Sooner or later this too will come to pass! Six pickups identical right do...

I've been impressed how tight the guys from the Texas gulf coast are. They go to the big Ft Worth swap meet together, seem to be in contact with each other quite a bit. What other large metro areas have that going on?

Re: Nice looking Ranger or is it ? on Evil Bay

That truck is on it's way to OKLA I hope all the critics are wrong. Having known this fellow a while I'd guess he sold his pride and joy '66 short wide 25 years ago. He just decided it was time to get back in. It's doubtful it was his intent to see if he could show this truck at the Pebble Beach Con...

Re: DIY Headliners

SCJ I'm glad you asked! For three years I carried them at $290.00, We've absorbed several price jumps in materials. Just this summer we've had two materials price jumps, one in Jun and another Aug the first. Our price per kit is now at $315.00. Freight is still high & going up. Greyhound is stil...

Re: DIY Headliners

We started working on the mold for our headliner around '94 I'm pretty sure the mold was finished and I pulled headliners for Pate '95 at Cresson. The #1 unit is still in the '65 Ranger I built it for, it sat outside here for a few summers. In the spring of '99 I sold it to a gentelman from the San ...

Re: Trying to keep the stock steering wheel

I am trying to keep the stock steering wheel in my truck but I don't like the look of a 67-72 steering column. I found the ididit column but at nearly 600 bucks, I was wondering if anyone had any good alternatives. I'd consider the stock column but a tilt column would be nice for the room and tryin...

Re: '66 F250 actual weight?

The weight issue, I guessed the '66 at 4,700 lbs. In the same ball park as everybody who reponded. We have a Gen One '95 Lighning, they're heavier than you would think, it's a trailer pulling outfit, on several ocasions I've pulled a 801 Ford with a Brush Hog attached on a car trailer with a heavy ...

Re: T-5 behind a FE

I think I've seen a scatter shield type bellhousing that would accept a T5 and FE in a Summit catalog. Where it would locate the shifter is another story.
