Re: Its been a few months. New truck (not a slick)
Its got a handful of mods on it Nothin too crazy. Firestone bags with an onboard compressor, 6" lift, upgraded exhaust, and it had an old edge tuner that was disconnected so I just took it out. I already had the trans rebuilt with a beefed up torque converter. Plan is to swap out the mirrors an...

Re: "Reproduction" Tach for Slicks!!!!
Oh and what did you use to cut the hole out? I'm a bit scared using a hole cutter on my drill that size! Mine already had a hole punched out to 2 1/16 from the factory so I didn't want to use a hole saw either. Wound up taking my time and slowly grinding and cutting it down with a dremel. The...

Thanks guys, I swapped in the oilprssure guage when I got rid of the autometer volt meter because the autometer gauge looked out of place with the new tach.

"Reproduction" Tach for Slicks!!!!
Ok its supposed to be for Broncos but it fits pretty nicely in our trucks. Got this tach thru Wild Horses 4x4. Its a standard ~3" electronic tach. Wired up easily with the existing wiring that I had run for my autometer tach. I did have to cut a bigger hole to fit the bigger cup. The tach takes...

Its been a few months. New truck (not a slick)
Hey guys! Its been more than a few months since Ive posted on here. My apartment at school is not conducive to working on the 63 so I only get to work on it here and there usually on breaks. But I did get a new toy this past month: 2003 7.3l Powerstroke Lariat/FX4 http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums...

Re: Is your Slick a DD?
My slick has been my DD for the past 4 and a half years. Its the only vehicle Ive owned and it got me to and from HS every day and still gets driven nearly every day now that Im in college. Not the most gas friendly option but who cares!

Door screws
Anyone know where i can get the large phillips (cross) screws used to hold the window regulators and misc other parts on the doors? Im talking about the big countersunk screws.
I checked LMC, NPD and DC and either totally missed them or they dont carry them.

Re: Roof skin questions
Thanks for the input guys. I don't feel confident in my welding to take that in but the body shop guarantees his work for life against stuff like this so it'll go back to him Wednesday and he is gonna fix it for free. I never saw the truck before they put filler over the work they did so I'm not sur...

Roof skin questions
As some of you may be aware my truck has shaved drip rails. Which so far have caused some problems in their own. I am having issues with cracking I in the paint on both B pillars and on one A pillar. I currently do not know if the cracking is due to poor workmanship on the part of the body so or fro...

Re: '63 F100 Headlight Switch/Fuse holder
Agreed the new headlight switches are just the switch no fuse panel included as the wires going into the fuse panel have no connectors to make the fuse panel easy to swap out

Re: 2013 Western Nats pics
Yup the red truck with the mod motor and the flip hood is Kevin's. bill w's was the yellow one with the flip hood and Randy's was the white one with the modern fuel injection. Lots of cool trucks this year and it seems like there are more and more 57-66 trucks every year
