I don't know how close they are to you, but Space Age Paint, on
Country Club in Mesa has a pretty good selection of Auveco bolts,
clips and the like.

On my 64, the power for the brake lights is from a fuse on the bottom of
my light swich. It is always powered no matter the key position.

I plan on being there also. Don't know that I'll be able
to bring the rolling wreck yet, but I'm trying.

I'm not sure on elevations, but since it's high desert I'm sure it's nowhere near 7000 ft. Probably closer to 2500-3000 ft. And it will save some time and miles. It's not a bad route by any means, but it's not flat.

From Barstow to over by Mojave it's all flat desert. But from there to Bakersfield you've got some pretty good hills to get over. A couple of long downgrades and a pretty good pull if you run that way.

Yes. It started in, you guessed it, southern California, but they've opened a shop here in Az.

You can also find them at So-Cal speed shop in Phx. They have a lot of stuff for these trucks.
