While that may solve the issue of cutting / welding, I "think" the issue will still be the mounting location of the straight axle box. That stub will be at floorboard level and would call for a VERY short column.

I used a 2000 ish Ranger booster . Had to redrill one hole to a different spot. Late 60s Fairlane MC. Played around with booster to pedal linkage and it works great. Power drums !

Rich, Get a white speedo gear, Ford carries them. I'm running the same gear and " normal" tires and it is as near to spot on as it gets !

I saw that truck driving around just 2 weeks ago.(on , like a Tuesday) I tried to catch up to him but its pretty tough when using a semi as a chase car thru town.
