This is the truck as I bought it , you can see the dent in the fender think this would cause my problem ?

Iceman it's more forward by about 1/4 to 5/16. I downloaded photobuckey still not sure how to get the pics here . Sorry kinda computer dumb .

If I knew how to post pics I would show y'all where it got hit because the fender still has the dent from being hit . Maybe you guys could take a guess on if that would affect the gap. It's not a lot but enough to bug the shot out of me ... Eeerrrrrr

Well it has been hit on the driverside before I bought it . All the measurements I took off the frame are the same on both sides , but on the driverside it's closer to the fender on the front side . It's not much but I'm the kinda person that this kinda thing really really bothers me . Hopefully it ...

Got the swap done . Not to happy with how it turned out . I measured 50 times and the driver side tire seems Alittle closer to the fender than the passenger side , don't rreally know whSt happened . It's time to rip it out and start over .. BUMMER

Ford site didn't mean for the old suspension to come out . Got Dam that thing took me 5 hours of grinding, prying , and sweating ! Got the ifs in and mounted looks sweet , but I didn't get the drop I thought I would .. All in all seems like a rad swap ..

Will this work in a 66 custom cab ? I have a 08 cv ifs and I plan on using mustang torque thrust wheels . Wondering what you guys thought
