Well .. I have a all cast iron engine except the intake which is aluminum. and have moved the battery to the back. So lets just say I lost a total of 130 pounds off the front. The truck is set up for more drag than drivability. So if I find a scale I would have to haul it to it. So I am kinda lookin...

I agree the larger line will add more displacement of fuel. Which inturn the hard you accelerate the more the pump has to push. Thats why raising your float bowls a little bit and bumping up your idle and fuel pressure can help. Again the to big of line and not enough pressure to push the fuel can c...

I agree the air/fuel ratio meter is a good thing to have, but who has $300 to buy one?? I want one real bad, but can't get one right now. A good turner can tune the carb to what he/she needs. Also you can run alot more hp on 3/8 line than 400hp. Best thing to do is fine the problem? It could be just...

Got a couple suggestion. I would check your timing to make sure it is advancing to what the engine needs. Also not sure what carburator your running but check your linkage. A guy from another forum had a similar problem and found his carburator throttle plates were not opening all the way. I ran out...

If you want check out my gallery. I have a 1966 ford F100 I mounted a harwood 5" cowl on it. I riveted it in and filled in the witt body filler to cover the rivets. But I would be interested in a full fiberglass hood as long as it is lighter.

Actually what I am doing is wanting to buy a set of drag springs for the front to help keep the front up when I take off. We installed a set on a friend of mines firebird and really made a difference in how his car launched. So I am trying to get it pretty close what I need as far as weight.
