that is a real nice truck i do know from past experience that you can put the 1/2 ton suspension right to the 3/4 springs but the drive shaft for the 3/4 will be 4" shorter than the 1/2 one

I went to the grocery store and got a can of stuff called BRASSO that and a little elbow grease and the grill in my 66 looked good as new

my 66 custom cab 2x4 came in at 4400lbs. My dads 66 4x4 came in at 4700lbs both trucks only had about 1/4 tank of feul

found some stuff that works really good for polishing the aluminimun on the slicks, it is called brasso and some elbow grease.

As far as I can tell the switch has to be on for them to be powered up did not know that until I bought my truck. My dad has had his since the early 80's and never thought much about it until I got mine and triied to figure out why my brake lights were not working.

I know there were a couple of them down on a 144th on the south side of division. One of them looks like it has been sitting for a while it is covered in moss.

I agree I would rather drive my slick then buy one of these plastic and coors beer can trucks they are making these days. You knoe that if you rub on a new car long enough you will find budweiser,coors,pepsi and coke names under the paint.
