Man I really Like the ( Fairlane ) looks like a COOL Ride !

I Like the stock steel wheels a whole lot !

I Like the Stock look so Much that I had a set of stock ford truck wheels (Banded..14inch)

They are back spaced about ( 11 1/2 in ) for some FAT Wide Rears !

If my first guess wasn't right. My second guess is, Mechanical Holly fuel pumps put out
more pressure than Holly carbs require. I did not read in your description that you had a fuel regulator. I think it needs one.

The Wheels that have nubs for the ( OUTIE ) hub caps, There are some with the rivits
that have a real thick center, I was having some wide wheels made, and the man makng
the wheels wanted the thicker center ones. he felt they would stay more '' TRUE "" !

Welcome to Slick 60's In the April edition of Custom Classic Trucks mag, there is a truck profiled (it is a 77 Ranger XLT Lariat) and they did the sheet metal swap to an 02 F-150. It is a 5.4 Triton. Might check it out. If the frame aint hurt you might try a sheet metal swap Wally Womack 8) 8) 8)
