I sectioned it into the frame. Don't remember exactly how much off hand, 1.5 or 2 inches seems to come to mind. Just kept going till I liked the ride height.

I cut it outta frp from lowes, covered it with foam headliner material and then wrapped it in some stuff called trexx, all from Joanns.
