just remember without that wheel to crumple, in a wreck youre going to straight up skewer yourself on the steering column

give that ole 6 a break and go with a 302 and overdrive.
Around here you can buy a running van or car for 500-1500. pull the motor and trans out (rear end too if you want) and slap them in, then sell the vehicle to a scrapper and get some money back.

Do you notice any benefit from running that sway bar? my CV front 61 unibody handles like a dream without. Would it be worth the effort?

From denver also, have a 61 unibody.
That thing looks pretty crusty, unless it was super cheap i wouldnt be looking too hard. plenty of slicks around denver, even a lot of unibodies
