Like he said in the first post and again by dsrtjeeper, just about any shop that does truck alignments can bend the beams to correct the camber.

Always be leery of recent poorly done paint and bedliner. Big gaudy wheels on an old vehicle with a recent quicky paint job is generally an attempt to draw in "under-informed" buyers.

Good spring and shackle bushings (not 50 year old rubber), springs that aren't clapped out, decent shocks, and a sway bar are about as much as you can really do with the factory type suspension.

Have you thought about trying to buy/ trade for a 600 cfm carb? Good working Holleys/ Edelbrocks go for about $100, and I'm sure you could find someone willing to trade for your 750.

You're toward the bottom. Looks like 72s on the primary side and a 134-21 plate for the secondaries.

Has anything been done to the 390? That 750 is definitely on the big side, especially if it's mostly just a driver.

Spec range is 0.006-0.010. Tighter makes for noisy gears and excess heat. It looks like you still have some gear oil on there, which makes a big difference when working in thousandths. Gears have to be clean to get a real reading, but you might be in the acceptable range without the oil.

What did the backlash measure with clean gears? Are the required thrust washers in the carrier? It takes 5 minutes and $40 worth of tools if you have to buy them to make sure it's set up correctly and won't potentially leave you stranded. All you have to do is stick the dial indicator on it to check...
